Mutoh America has announced it new RJ-8000 Falcon II line of large-format color inkjet printers. The new models are being shown off for the first time in Tampa, Fla. this week at the Big Picture convention. Canon Announces New Cameras, Printer PowerShot S40 offers 4 megapixel resolution
Canon USA has introduced two digital cameras and a new Bubble Jet Direct printer that supports printing directly from a digital camera. The cameras are the new S40 and S30, which offer 4.0 megapixel and 3.2 megapixel resolutions, respectively. The Bubble Jet Direct S820D supports both of the new cameras through a proprietary cable. Fuji Drops Prices on FinePix Low-end model now $500
Fuji today announced a $200 price drop on its FinePix 4800, 6800 and 6900 Zoom digital cameras. The FinePix cameras are targeted at the consumer market, though the 6000-series models offer a 3 megapixel resolution. The new prices are $499, $699 and $799, respectively. Read More

Corel has announced results for its third quarter, ended Aug. 31, showing a significant turnaround in income, but on lower revenues. Adobe Illustrator 10 To Get OS X Support New release scheduled for fourth quarter
Adobe has started previewing the forthcoming version of its illustration and vector graphics package, Illustrator 10. The new release, which the company says will support Mac OS X 10.1 (as well as OS 9), is scheduled to ship in the fourth quarter of this year.
