Syntax kicks off the holidays with showcase demonstrations of its Olevia LCD TVs

Syntax Corporation, one of the fastest-growing manufacturers of LCD TVs in North America according to market analysts, is showcasing its latest Olevia LCD TVs at this week's Electronic House Expo Show (Booth 818, EHX Fall 2005/Anaheim, CA) and at the iSuppli Flat Information Displays (FID) Conference/San Francisco.

As a kick off to the holidays, Syntax is demonstrating the rich features and specifications of its Olevia LCD TVs including the 26", 27" and 32" HD-Ready models, and the newest HD Built-in 37" and 42" HDTVs. At EHX, the Olevia LT42HVI HDTV is nominated as a finalist in EHX's Multi-Room Audio/Video Awards, and will be displayed in the Flat Panel and Home Theater Boot Camp presentations also held at EHX.

In addition to the Syntax Olevia exhibit at the iSuppli FID conference, Syntax is featuring three models of its Super-IPS based Olevia LCD TVs in the LG.Philips LCD "Consumer Electronics Concept Room." This CE room illustrates how displays, especially TFT-LCDs, have become a part of our everyday lives. Visitors to the Consumer Electronics Concept Room can experience the 37" Olevia LCD HDTV in a game room setting, the 42" Olevia HDTV as the centerpiece of the living room, and the 26" Olevia LCD TV in a typical home office environment.

Syntax's Olevia LCD TVs are designed to deliver a total quality digital entertainment experience and are manufactured with the same high quality panels, video processing chipsets and other key components that are used in Tier One branded products. Olevia LCD TVs yield a two-fold value proposition for consumers -- superior performance and affordable prices with an industry-leading "on-site" warranty.

MAXON DELIVERS RELEASE 12
In Hollywood, there is little doubt that MAXON's CINEMA 4D is the 3D motion graphics artist's best friend. For years, I've been telling you about how easy it is to use, what brilliantly stunning images it produces, how quickly it renders through projects, it's offering of dynamic animation, and, most recently, about its increasingly powerful set of motion graphics tools which fit neatly into production pipelines. So, what could possibly be better than all that has come before? Plenty. Read More
Content Insider #148 - The iGen
NO...Doesn't have a thing to do with "that" smartphone...or "that" store...or "that" tablet. It's the next generation. Kids and we mean little kids. That's what today's products are being designed for/targeted at. You happen to buy one...fine. Watch a little, little kid pick up a smartphone. He/she just uses it. They've come pre-wired and we're still trying to figure out how to IM. It's the IGen. They want it instantly. They want to use it instantly. They expect their photos, their video, their music, their stuff immediately when/where/how they want it. Read More

Insider #149 - Game Demographics
The blood, gore, adrenalin challenges that were unveiled at E3 and enjoyed at ComicCon are fun to look at, easy to hold but are they really the games people want to plunk down their credit cards to own or rent time with? Seems as though the investors, the players who control the controllers have a different idea of a "good" game than the kids who develop them. While mobs of people play educational, informational, stimulating games our kid huddles in his room and mumbles "The Few, The Proud, The Gamers." Read More
