Brushes for Corel Painter Series 3 15 cloning brushes for creating painterly effects on images By Dave Nagel Since we've been on the topic of cloning in Corel Painter IX, it seemed a good time to release a new set of brushes for Painter designed to do just that. The brushes in this collection--our third series for Painter--are designed to create textured clones from photographic images resembling various paint styles, from thick and creamy strokes to spongy patches of uneven paint.

The brushes
Our collection this time around includes 15 brushes for cloning images to produce painterly effects. (If you haven't already read our first tutorial on this topic, you can find it by clicking here.) The brushes vary widely in paint styles, including everything from Artists' Oils to Palette Knives, for creating a wide range of effects. Of course, each of the brushes includes custom dynamics that you can adjust to suit your needs.
