Luxology Announces New Board MembersAdds members to advisory board and announces board of directors (August 05, 2004)
Luxology LLC, an independent technology company creating high-end 3D content creation tools, announced today the formation of its Board of Directors, and the addition of new members to its Advisory Board. Chairman Dr. Howard Morgan, vice chairman of Idealab! and president and founder of the Arca Group, will head up Luxology's newly formed Board of Directors; Stephen Mack, founder and president of Gnomist, will also join the Board. The Advisory Board will be led by Dr. Adam Klein, an advisor to MTV Networks and former executive vice president and president of global marketing of Hasbro Inc., and Clifford Boro, managing partner and co-founder of CVT Ventures and former chairman and CEO of Infogate.

About the Board Members
Dr. Howard Morgan, Chairman, Board of Directors
Dr. Howard Morgan began working with Idealab! in 1996 and began serving as vice chairman in early 2000. Howard is also president and founder of the Arca Group Inc., a consulting and venture capital investment firm specializing in the areas of computer and communications technologies. He has more than 25 years of experience with more than 30 high-tech entrepreneurial ventures. Howard was professor of decision sciences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and professor of computer science at the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania for almost 15 years. He serves on the boards of a number of companies and is a respected author. He received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997. Howard received his Ph.D. in operations research from Cornell University and his B.S. from the City University of New York.
Stephen Mack, Board of Directors
Stephen K. Mack is founder and president of Gnomist Inc., a New York City based design firm where he provides freelance art direction services for the Web, 3D animation/design, corporate branding and advertising. Prior to starting Gnomist in 1998, Stephen received a degree in mathematics from Emory University and worked for Crawford Communications Inc. and Macquarium Inc., both based in Atlanta, Ga. He continues to teach classes and lecture on 3D graphics, Web site design and computer graphics techniques.
Dr. Adam Klein, Co-Advisory Board Lead
Adam Klein is an advisor to MTV Networks, reporting to Tom Freston. Most recently he worked at Hasbro Inc., where as executive vice president and president of Global Marketing he had the responsibility for $3.5 billion of global brand/product development and sales/marketing, representing 90%+ of Hasbro's business. As president, Adam drove the brand-based strategy for the rapid development of Hasbro Interactive from start up to over $300 million projected this year. Prior to Hasbro, Adam was CEO of South African-based Boumat Ltd., a USD $1 billion manufacturer, where he increased profitability over 50% in one year. Adam has a doctorate in business administration from Harvard Business School, with a focus on the management of strategic change. He has also been a lecturer at Harvard Business School and a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
Clifford Boro, Co-Advisory Board Lead
Clifford Boro is the managing partner and co-founder of CVT Ventures, an executive group dedicated to forming and accelerating information technology enterprises and technology-differentiated service companies. Prior to establishing CVT, Mr. Boro was the chairman and CEO of Infogate Inc., a leading software and information network that created turnkey subscription-based personal information products for partners including CNN, USA Today and the Tribune Company. Mr. Boro founded Internet Financial Network in 1994 (which later merged with Entrypoint to create Infogate). During his tenure at IFN/Infogate, Mr. Boro raised over $50 million in venture capital (including lead investors Citigroup, The Trump Group and Idealab!). He led the development of many award-winning products, forged key business alliances (including Dow Jones, Salomon Smith Barney and Citibank) and principally architected IFN's merger with Entrypoint and Infogate's sale to AOL Time Warner.
