ole has signed top-tier Nashville hit songwriter Dave Turnbull. ole has also acquired Turnbull's song catalog which includes three 2011, #1 hits and more than 130 unexploited works and multiple holds by a number of major artists.

Notable copyrights in this deal include Kenny Chesney's "The Boys of Fall," Brad Paisley's "Anything Like Me" and Alabama's "Old Alabama," the three #1 Billboard Hot Country Songs chart hits that brought Turnbull the coveted Country Music Association's Triple Play Award in January of this year.

"Dave Turnbull is one of a select group of writers to have achieved a Triple Play Award for having three number one singles in a 12 month period." says ole Chief Creative Officer Gilles Godard. "He is a creator of timeless songs and has the uncanny ability to put into words and music what the rest of the world feels. All of us at ole are pleased to have Dave on board and we look forward to celebrating his next 'triple play' together."

"It's great to join the ole team!" comments Dave Turnbull. "I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with Gilles Godard, Arthur Buenahora, Mike Sebastian, Matt Turner and the rest of their hardworking, innovative creative staff. ole represents an amazing group of writers and I look forward to what we can all accomplish together in the years to come."

Turnbull has had additional chart success with some of country music's A-list artists. His hits include Montgomery Gentry's #1 single, "Lucky Man"; Blake Shelton's "The More I Drink"; Darryl Worley's "If Something Should Happen"; Craig Morgan's "That's Why," the title track for his fifth album; Trace Adkins' "Marry For Money" and "Arlington," the moving tribute to "the military men and women who have given that last full measure for our country," as Adkins puts it, inspired by Turnbull's chance meeting with the father of U.S. Marine Corporal Patrick Nixon, the first soldier from Tennessee killed during the war in Iraq.

Dave Turnbull moved to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career in 1993 after attending the United States Naval Academy Prep School and graduating from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Economics. He signed his first publishing deal in 1997.

Turnbull appears at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville in a special Songwriter Session on April 14 at 11:30 a.m.
