kgb Debuts Free Trivia Game Mobile Application "kgb Masters" on iPhone

(July 19, 2010)

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 07/19/10 -- kgb, America's favorite text answer service, has launched kgb Masters, a free, highly addictive and super-challenging time-based mobile trivia application for the iPhone. Available for download in the iPhone App Store, kgb Masters tests players' supreme knowledge on a variety of topics, including sports, history, science, pop culture and social relationships. Players must ace the questions on each level to reach the game's ultimate level -- "Master." The interesting and tough questions used in kgb Masters are chosen from the millions of queries that users ask kgb 542542 text answer service (at a cost of 99 cents per question) and the answers that kgb Special Agents research in response.

kgb Masters players start off as a rank of 'Recruit' and choose one of the five challenge categories. Players must answer at least 8 of the 10 questions correctly, and within the posted time limit, to move on to the next category. Once all five categories are completed, players move on to the next level. There are ten levels within the game, starting with "Recruit," "Trainee," and "Operative," all the way up to "Master." With each level, the questions increase in difficulty, but players can collect points that can be used to get help with the questions. Options include asking a friend, searching the web, 50/50 and asking a live kgb Special Agent -- all of which cost a various amount of points. If players run out of points while on missions, they can also buy points from kgb via iTunes. Additionally, players can earn other achievements and unlock special missions as they ascend in ranking.

"We have an incredibly skilled group of kgb Agents who respond to every question imaginable. kgb Masters enables us to share the fun we have had -- and the high degree of skill we have developed -- as we have answered millions of questions," said kgb CEO of Mobile and Digital, Bruce Stewart. "kgb Masters is not just a highly entertaining and social trivia game -- it's also a reflection of our vast database. Our questions range from the highly specific things that real people ask us to more subjective topics that test your social skills -- because our users don't just ask us for trivia, they also ask us for good advice. This game is tough, and equally well-suited to individual players or team competitions. We hope our users enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed creating it."
