hsr/ny Comes Clean For Palmolive Oxy Plus

Scores and mixes original musical underscore for Colgate spot (August 17, 2004)

For hsr/ny Glenn Navia mixed and Andrew Knox, in conjunction with David Horowitz Music Associates, created the sound design and composed an original musical underscore for Colgate and Palmolive Oxy Plus. The spot, a :30 spot with a :15 lift, was developed though Y&R Brands, Inc. (New York, NY), and rolled out nationally in July 17th.

In Doris, actress Doris Roberts (of Everyone Loves Raymond) offers a friend advice on dishwashing detergents and extols the virtues of new oxygenated Palmolive Oxy Plus, ?toughest on grease, soft on hands, guaranteed.

hsr/ny Mixer Glenn Navia completed the audio post utilizing a Fairlight QDC editor, Soundtracs DS-3 digital mixing console, Steinberg Wavelab 5.0 running on a 3.2 Gig Athlon PC for spot mastering, Sony (Sonic Foundry) Vegas Video 4.0 running on a 3.2 Gig Athlon PC for video playback and Lexicon PCM 60 digital reverb.

The original musical underscore and sound design was created by hsr/ny Music Producer Andrew Knox and David Horowitz Music Associates (New York, NY) David Horowitz and Jonathan Fields.

Representing Young & Rubicam, NY were Creative Directors Jacques Borris and Alison Stanich, Global Executive Producer Olivier Gauriat, Assistant Producer Heidi Baltzer, Copywriter Steve Salinaro and Art Director Darren Cregan.

The spot was lensed by Big Lawn Films (Santa Monica, CA) and Director Chuck Bennett, Executive Producer Gabrielle Yuro and Production Supervisor Dawn Stennes.

The editorial assignment was completed at The Blue Rock Editing Company (New York, NY) by Lenny Friedman, assisted by Michael York.

Colorist John Bonta of Company 3 NY (New York, NY) was responsible for the film-to-tape transfer

Editors Rich Siciliano and Ken Hope of Epoxy (New York, NY) handled the online assignment

Spontaneous (New York, NY) Composite Artist Amir Qureshi provided the visual effects.
