eBay and DailyFeats Collaborate to Encourage and Reward Positive Actions

  (March 20, 2012)

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 20, 2012

DailyFeats announced today it will work with eBay, the world's leading online marketplace, to reward consumers for doing good things. As part of DailyFeats' e-commerce coalition, eBay is now offering $5 off eBay purchase discount rewards to DailyFeats members who complete positive actions.

Available free at dailyfeats.com for web and iPhone, DailyFeats celebrates small but significant actions, or "feats," that contribute to people's goals for health and well-being. DailyFeats members earn points for those actions, share them with friends, and redeem their points for rewards or donations. DailyFeats' purpose is to make positive action part of daily life, motivating people to realize the potential of every day.

How does it work? When people come to DailyFeats and set a meaningful, positive goal--like losing weight, being a better parent, or giving back to their community--DailyFeats helps them break it goal down into a set of manageable "feats" to do every day. As they check in feats, members share their progress with friends, exchanging ideas and building inspiration--and earn points to redeem for savings from national brands, or partner donations to nonprofits.

eBay is the latest company to join DailyFeats coalition of major brands that sponsor feats. eBay's feats encourage people to indulge both their practical side--with feats like saving money, decluttering, and fixing something yourself--and their fanciful side, with feats like getting creative and being stylish on a budget, among others. All of eBay's sponsored feats can be seen and checked in at http://ebay.dailyfeats.com/ .

eBay supports its sponsorship with real-life rewards, by offering $5 off eBay discount rewards to DailyFeats members for completing any of hundreds of feats, ranging from reading a book to playing actively with their kids.

"Together with eBay, we can make a difference in countless people's lives," said Morley Ivers, President and COO of DailyFeats. "eBay is a powerful voice for good, and we're proud to share their commitment to positive change for people and their communities. As part of the eBay community, we're excited to power the DailyFeats experience directly within eBays site for their 90 million customers."

"This relationship reflects eBay's values: we're committed to empowering everyone to use their money well, and DailyFeats is a new social and digital innovation that helps us express just that," said Robert Chatwani, eBays Head of Integrated Marketing. "We're excited at this opportunity for eBay to connect meaningfully with our customers, both within our marketplace and in their everyday lives."
