Zacuto Nominated for Two IAWTV Awards

CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 12/28/11 -- Zacuto is pleased to announce their two IAWTV award nominations by the International Academy of Web Television. The Great Camera Shootout 2011 is nominated both for Best Educational Web Series and Best Writing (Non-Fiction).

Web television is a rapidly growing genre of digital entertainment distinct from traditional broadcast television by delivering original Web television shows or Web series directly to audiences via the Internet. The International Academy of Web Television Awards (IAWTV Awards) is an official web television industry awards ceremony created by content creators, for content creators. The IAWTV is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of web television as well as furthering the common good and general welfare of industry professionals. The group has granted awards to a few notable series including The Guild, Lonely Girl 15, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Prom Queen, Epic Fu, Red vs. Blue, Anyone But Me, Homestar Runner and many others.

All proceeds made from the IAWTV event go back to the community and help provide more member resources as well as development and education for people working in the field of web television. The awards are held at CES, the world's largest consumer technology and content trade show, in Las Vegas on January 10-13.
