YouMail Launches New Android App, Reaches New Metrics BenchmarksYouMail Voicemail to Text and Digital Secretary Service Now Handles Over One Million Calls a Day and Has Processed Over 450 Million Calls to Date (August 11, 2010)
IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/11/10 -- YouMail Inc. (www.youmail.com), a leading provider of digital secretary services for managing mobile voicemail, today announced the release of a new Android app and that the service has surpassed the impressive benchmark of handling over one million calls a day, with well over 450 million calls processed overall, and over 100 million in the past three months.
The new Android app expands on the previous, much-downloaded version with features such as:
- YouMail's smart greetings, which automatically greet callers by name.
- Selecting and using any greeting users have recorded in the app or recorded and uploaded online.
- Using greetings selected from the YouMail greetings community at "greetings.youmail.com."
- Easily switching between status greetings ("I'm on a plane," "I'm at a meeting," etc).
YouMail now optimizes the amount of data used by delivering voicemails in a more compressed format, and has made the app very easy to set up.
