XChange Release X-Ray Plug-in for Adobe InDesign and InCopy

X-Ray users can set a desired opacity for each palette and toolbar (November 02, 2005)

XChange International, the source for extended technology worldwide, are pleased to announce the release of the X-Ray 1.0 plugin for Adobe InDesign and InCopy. The X-Ray plug-in facilitates navigating within InDesign when multiple palettes are needed continuously for production and design and it becomes a challenge for users to fit them all on a single screen. With X-Ray, users can set a desired opacity for each palette and toolbar.

When X-Ray is active, designers can see their work through the floating palettes and toolbars. The X-Ray plug-in works with a palette listing all InDesign panels and toolbars. The palette can optionally display either all palettes or only the visible ones, and users can turn opacity on or off with a single click or hot key. For users considering buying a second monitor, X-Ray is an inexpensive alternative, allowing them to set custom opacities for every palette within InDesign or InCopy.

System Requirements: X-Ray 1.0 is compatible with InDesign and InCopy CS and CS2 on both Macintosh® and Windows platforms. (In the Macintosh version, users can set opacity to all panels and the control palette. The Windows version currently doesn¹t support opacity for Ostashed¹ panels or for the control palette if docked.)

X-Ray is available now through XChange International for £11.95. To order, or for more information, users can visit www.xchangeuk.com
