Wildform Ships New Versions of FlixPro, Standard and Lite versions now available
Flix Pro encodes most popular video, audio and graphics file formats and outputs all types of Flash video. Supported file formats include .asf, .avi, .dv, .mov, .qt, .mpg, .wmv, .mp3, .wav, .wma, .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .psd, .tif, .pic and .tga. It also has the ability to convert raster video or still images into vectors to create a look akin to the artwork in the film Waking Life. And it has functions that enable users to implement advanced Flash features without using Flash, such as automatically outputting customized players.
Flix Pro also offers one-pass and two-pass variable bitrate encoding, editing, cropping, batch encoding, projectors, preloaders and several other features.
The Lite and Standard editions offers all the basic features required to encode and deploy Flash video. Flix Standard also includes two-pass VBR compression and several additional features.
In addition, Wildform has also released a Flix SDK for developers, including "everything required to create robust client and server applications with complete Flix Pro functionality," according to the company. The Flix SDK pricing varies by usage.
Flix Pro runs $149. Flix Standard costs $89. And Flix Lite sells for $29. All versions are available now for Macintosh (including Mac OS X) and Windows. For more information, visit http://www.wildform.com.
