Wildform Releases Flix for Mac

Tool converts video into Flash By Dave Nagel
Wildform has announced the release of Flix for the Macintosh platform. Flix is a tool for encoding digital video into the Flash format. It's designed to offer simple functionality and heavy compression.

Flix includes a four-tab interface for the conversion process. There's a file tab, where you set your input and output, export options, presets, links and clip information. The SWF tab lets you set your movie options and custom variables. The Audio tab lets you set your input and output, audio export options and output options (bit rate, sample rate, stereo, etc.). And the Video tab lets you set format, frame rate, color depth, dimensions, smoothing, image quality, etc.

There are also several other options available in the Flix Options dialog. Flix supports .asf, .avi, .dv, .mov/.qt, .mpeg and .wmv file formats for video and .mp3, .wav and .wma for audio. It also supports most still image formats.

Flix for the Macintosh is available now for $99. For more information, visit
