All of the new MicroGB800 models are expected to be available July 22.
WiebeTech has also introduced a new serial ATA dock called the SATADock, along with a serial ATA PCI host card. The SATADock is designed to allow users to transfer data from IDE drives to Apple's upcoming G5 machines. (The host card provides Windows compatibility for internal and external serial ATA drives.) The dock supports ATA-5 and ATA-6 and converts standard IDE drives into serial ATA devices, providing higher raw data transfer rates with plug and play operation on Apple G5 computers. The dock will be available later this month for $119.95 ($139.95 with power supply). The serial ATA PCI host card is available now for $39.95.
The company has also launched new encrypted storage and write-blocked storage devices. Details are available on WiebeTech's Web site. For more information, visit http://www.wiebetech.com.
