Cao has a proven track record in leading and managing teams to architect, develop and operate large-scale web and mobile platforms and applications. He was most recently the vice president of engineering at TokBox, Inc., a leading consumer and small business video chat and videoconference provider, where he was responsible for overseeing the team that built cutting-edge scalable technology for both browser and mobile platforms. Prior to TokBox, Cao was senior vice president of engineering with StarCite, the largest technology provider for the $300 billion professional meetings and events industry, where he built and grew large distributed teams, helping to facilitate the company's accelerated growth. He has also held senior software architect and management positions at Centrata, e-Steam, Woosh, Enroute, and Fujitsu and he was a co-founder of WebDrive. Cao received his MS degree from Stanford University with a focus on distributed computing and computer graphics and his BS in Physics from Beijing (Peking) University.
