White Horse Wins Best Consumer Goods Mobile Website for Schlage Consumer Mobile Project

The Web Marketing Association announced digital agency White Horse as the winner of its Best Consumer Goods Mobile Website award for the companys work designing and developing Schlages mobile site. The 2012 MobileWebAwards Competition (m.WebAwards) is produced to honor excellence in mobile Websites and apps, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the best in award winning mobile development. Applications are received from organizations worldwide, and judging criteria includes seven categories: Creativity, Impact, Design, Content, Interactivity, Ease of use and Use of the medium.

The Schlage site provides an innovative interface for exploring door hardware products on the go, incorporating the mobile and social dimensions current consumers demand. Users can choose a variety of ways to search for detailed product information, including features, available finishes, product specifications, and customer reviews. The mobile interface allows customers to compare products and share details on their social media with friends and family.

With our increasingly mobile lifestyles, consumers demand immediate access to information. Through creation of the mobile website, consumers can access additional product information in the lock aisle, view installation videos at the door itself and compare lock choices to select the best fit for their home, commented Ann Matheis, Schlage Brand Director.
