What do you say?

September 5, 2001 By Gary Kayye, CTS
What a day.

I was in Atlanta Tuesday when it all started and couldn't believe my eyes. I was with a client there and we just couldn't think of anything else but the horror of what had just happened and what was still happening in front of our own eyes, live on TV.

Everyone will be affected. Everyone in some way will forever be changed by this.

I want to personally thank the over one hundred people who have sent me e-mails to ask if I am ok, if we are ok.

E-mails from all over the world.

E-mails that represent people who care and share the horror with us.

Thank you.

I drove back to NC from Atlanta yesterday, for obvious reasons, and I am sure Hertz is wondering where my, and a whole host of other, rental car is. I just figured they would understand.

So, here I sit, trying to write something about something and all I can do is think about all those people we will find out about that we knew. Morgan Stanley had an AV group in those buildings. Kemper Insurance had AV people there. Cantor had an AV team there.

I can't write anything else.

We will all find out that we know someone, or know someone who knows someone, or know someone who knows someone who knows someone, etc. And, then it will truly sink in.

I feel terrible.

God Bless America. Pray.
