Wet Electrics Releases Production Designer Studio

Presentation system syncs audio, video and MIDI By Dave Nagel
Wet Electrics has released Production Designer Studio. PDS is a presentation tool designed for coordinating elements in a multimedia design. It's available now for Macintosh.

Production Designer Studio is a tools for synchronizing and outputting video, audio and MIDI elements of a multimedia presentation. The interface includes transport controls, drag and drop output assignment, graphical editing capabilities and independent timeline control. For video, it supports formats up to 720 x 4880 and offers non-destructive editing. For audio, it supports sample rates of 44.1 kHz and higher, fading and panning and multiple audio outputs. And for MIDI, it includes support for lighting control and samples and effects. It also allows users to control a range of external devices through its RS232/RS422 serial control interface.

Production Designer Studio is available now for Macintosh for $695 through Jan. 31. After that, the regular price will be $995. A trial version is also available for download from the company's site. For more information, visit
