WeeWorld Ramps Revenue in MobileTeen Social Gaming Leader Continues Its Mobile Success With Top-Selling iPhone App, Launches Android App and Adds In-App Purchasing Capabilities (December 01, 2010)
NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/01/10 -- WeeWorld, a popular social game for teens, today announced its continued mobile momentum. Launched this year, its WeeMee Avatar Creator app quickly became the top-selling avatar app on the iPhone, has been named a top "Staff Pick," and continues to be shortlisted as a favorite in the App Store.
Building on that initial success, WeeWorld launched an Android app, including a version bundled in to work seamlessly with the new, eco-friendly Motorola CITRUS. In addition, WeeWorld rolled out in-app purchasing capabilities for iPhone to expand its reach and revenue potential. Android in-app purchasing capabilities will be rolled out in the coming months.
