WaveBurner Pro 2.1 Goes Beta

Emagic, the German audio software and hardware manufacturer and maker of the Logic Audio series of products, has released a beta of its WaveBurner Pro 2.1. The beta is open to users of WaveBurner 2.0. The beta is designed to test the functionality of new support for FireWire devices.

In a released statement, Emagic said, "In order to provide support for a broad range of FireWire CDR/CDRW as quickly as possible, we have decided to make our new WaveBurner Pro version 2.1 available in the form of a 'public beta' for registered users of WaveBurner Pro 2.0."

  • Real-time conversion to 44.1kHz
  • Non-destructive editing within the Waveform Window of Tracks, Pauses, Indices, Level, Fades and Crossfades

  • Multiple tracks from one audio file
  • First track number larger than 1 possible
  • Supports Copy Prohibit, Pre-Emphasis, ISRC number and UPC/EAN code

  • AIFF, SDII (also split stereo), MP3
  • Up to 24 Bit/96 kHz
  • Disc image export/import
  • Export the Tracklist as text file
