Wargame Expert To Headline Serious Games Summit D.C.Military affairs expert and simulation developer Jim Dunnigan will keynote (July 29, 2004)
Military affairs expert and simulation developer Jim Dunnigan will keynote this year's Serious Games Summit to be held Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 18-19, 2004 in Washington, D.C. The Serious Games Summit brings together game industry experts to discuss how interactive technology can be used for national defense, homeland security, training, education and other non-entertainment sectors.
Jim Dunnigan is considered to be a pioneer of modern-day wargame design. His experience as a developer, publisher and author dates back to 1967, when his initial title, Jutland, was released. Jim's first two books on wargames, The Complete Wargames Handbook and How to Make War, are considered classics among wargame and simulation developers.
