Wacom Updates Tablet Driver

Version 4.7.7 improves Cintiq support and all-around functionality By Dave Nagel
Wacom has released a new driver software for most of its pressure-sensitive tablets. The new 4.7.7 drivers include improvements for the Cintiq tablet line, as well as overall enhancements. The new drivers are currently final release candidates and available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows.

The new version of the drivers improves compatibility with Wacom's Cintiq line of tablets in multi-monitor and multi-tablet setups. It also improves Cintiq calibration, resolves issues with using a mouse on tablets and includes overall functionality improvements. (For those of you using Corel Painter 8, this update does not seem to fix the Cintiq/multiple monitor issue.) The new software supports all of Wacom's USB-based tablets except the Graphire3.

The new 4.7.7 drivers are available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows as free updates. For more information, visit
