Wacom Debuts Graphire3 TabletsUpdated pressure-sensitive tablets now available in sizes up to 6" x 8"
The new USB-based Graphire3 models are available in two configurations, a 4" x 5" model and a 6" x 8" model. (This is the first time the Graphire has been offered with the larger surface dimensions.) The Graphire offers 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and includes support for handwriting and inking technologies, including Apple's Inkwell on Mac OS X and Microsoft's Office XP applications. The tablets include a cordless pressure-sensitive pen and cordless three-button scrolling mouse, which has been redesigned from since the release of the previous Graphire2 series of tablets. Additionally, the Graphire tablets include Adobe Photoshop Elements 1.0, Corel Painter Classic and NIK Multimedia penPalette LE.
The Graphire3 will be available this month in three different colors (Sapphire Blue, Pearl White and Graphite Gray) with support for Macintosh and Windows systems. The 4" x 5" model will sell for $99.95, while the 6" x 8" model will sell for $199.95. For more information, visit http://www.wacom.com.
