VirtuOz Appoints Greg Carver Senior Vice President of Global ServicesManaged Service Veteran to Lead Customer Operations and Support Intelligent Virtual Agent Growth Across Vertical Markets Around the World (January 10, 2012)
EMERYVILLE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/12 -- VirtuOz, the leading provider of intelligent virtual agents (IVAs) for online marketing, sales, and support, today announced that Greg Carver, an industry expert with 20 years of experience leading managed service operations, is the newly appointed senior vice president of global services. In his role on the VirtuOz executive team, Greg will be responsible for all customer-facing services, internal IT, and hosted operations.

Before joining VirtuOz, Greg served as senior vice president of customer operations at MegaPath Inc., where he played an instrumental role in its expansion into one of the nation's largest managed services providers. Prior to that, Greg was the senior vice president of operations at GoRemote, where he ran global operations, and continued to do so at iPass after they acquired GoRemote in February 2006. He has also held executive level positions at MercedNet, Inc., BroadBand Office, and Williams Communications Group, as well as various engineering and operations positions at Nortel Networks.
Greg holds a degree in telecommunications from Clover Park College of Washington State.
