ViewSonic Ships New LCD Screens

VX line available up to 20 inches By Dave Nagel
ViewSonic has expanded its line of LCD monitors with four new models. The models, all of which fall into the company's VX line, range from 17 inches to 20 inches. The models are available now.

New models in the lineup include the 17-inch VX700, the 18-inch VX800, the 19-inch VX900 and the 20-inch VX2000. The VX700, VX800 and VX900 offer a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 and contrast ratios of 550:1 and 600:1 and 600:1, respectively, while the VX2000 provides 1,600 x 1,200 resolution and a 600:1 contrast ratio.

The models come in a two-tone design (black and metallic) and offer OptiSync and SuperClearMVA technologies. They include analog and DVI inputs.

The VX Series is available now. The VX700 has an estimated street price of $799; the VX800 is $915 ESP after mail-in rebate; the VX900 is $1,099 ESP after mail-in rebate; and the VX2000 is $1,585 ESP after rebate. For more information, visit
