VideoClix 2.0 ReleasedInteractive authoring software supports Mac OS X
VideoClix is an application for building interactive objects into video content. New features in version 2.0, aside from Mac OS X support, include
- New click, rollover and time triggered Actions;
- Messaging for third-party application support (Flash, iShell, LS Pro, etc.);
- HTML-independent interactivity;
- Faster Object tracking;
- Canned effects;
- MPEG support;
- UI improvements.
VideoClix output can be served from an HTTP or RTSP server and tie into common database formats without addition plugins or components. It supports MPEG-1, AVI, Flash and DV codecs within QuickTime and will support PEG-2 and MPEG-4 with the release of Apple QuickTime 6. VideoClix 2.0 runs $499.
