Video Editing Leads Among All Services Offered by Digital Media Facilities

New Research Details Product And Techology Usage In Multiple Types Of Facilities By DMN Staff Writer
According to the '2002 Digital Media Facility Report' published by SCRI and Digital Media Online, video editing is the most common service (among 23 measured) offered by digital media facilities across the board -- three out of four facilities (74.9%) offer video editing.

Among the vertical user markets, video editing ranks highest among broadcast (TV and Cable stations), video production and post facilities. Of note though is the high percentage of facilities on other vertical markets who are also involved in video editing over eight of ten corporate facilities; and more than seven in ten institutional facilities (educational and government) and independents; and two out of three multimedia facilities report offering video editing.
