Turbo Squid Debuts 3D Modeling Service

Service provides access to pool of 6,300 artists By Dave Nagel
Turbo Squid has announced a new 3D modeling service. It offers custom 3D model creation for clients and an outlet for 3D artists to place bids on modeling jobs. The service launched today.

Turbo Squid provides assets in 2D and 3D formats for animators, game developers and designers in a variety of formats. The new service is designed as a supplement to the library of assets Turbo Squid currently provides, allowing clients to make requests for custom 3D content. Using the service, clients place a request for a 3D model (or complete project), and Turbo Squid serves as the go-between to connect the client with the company's vendor base of 6,300 artists. The company is also encouraging 3D artists to register with the service, which will allow them to place bids on projects the company determines are appropriate for them.

Pricing varies by the job, but there is no cost to clients for using the service itself. Clients can submit proposals at Artists who wish to sign up to become a part of the service can do so at For more information, visit
