Trident SVP EX Video Powers New Haier LCD TVsThe new models, L32A9-AK, L37A9-AK, and L42A9-AK, are now shipping in China (November 21, 2005)
Trident Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trident Microsystems, Inc. and a worldwide leader in the development of advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Haier, China's leading consumer electronics brand, is using Trident's SVP EX ten-bit video processor that features the Digital Cinema Reality Engine (DCRe) to power its new 32-inch, 37-inch and 42-inch models. The new models, L32A9-AK, L37A9-AK, and L42A9-AK, are now shipping in China.

The SVP(TM) EX family features Trident's Digital Cinema Reality Engine, DCRe(TM). DCRe(TM) video processing delivers optimal video fidelity to offer consumers compelling, cinema-like video images. DCRe(TM) includes:
