Why should you care?
If youve been reading Fast Facts for a while, you know that this number has been steadily climbing. This tells us that studio/facility owners and executives see their people as a key to getting new business. Also for many studios, hiring new people signals added capabilities to serve existing and new clients. Overall this is good news since most studio decision makers do not hire new employees without the project growth to support them. Four years ago, 16% of U.S. studios cited hiring new employees as a new business opportunity; two years ago this number was 27%. Producers, sales report, videographers and editors top the list of job titles that studios are looking to hire.
