Total Training Announces What's New Series for Adobe After Effects 5(August 08, 2001)
Adobe After Effects 5 is a 2D/3D compositing tool that offers animation capabilities to video producers and animators. After Effects is used regularly by creative professionals to build cutting edge animations for films, commercials, corporate videos and Web sites. The latest release, Adobe After Effects 5, builds directly on After Effects 4, and offers new creative tools and a streamlined workflow to experienced users.
The wide array of new features offered by After Effects 5 prompted Total Training to develop the most recent Total Training product as an extension of the popular Total After Effects 4 series. Together the two series are a complete training study program for the beginning user, while the "What's New" series is a natural sequel for those who learned After Effects from Total After Effects 4 and now own After Effects 5. In addition, the series includes all of the tips, techniques, hidden features and tricks for which Total Training products are famous.
The new series stars Brian Maffitt, Total Training chief creative officer, After Effects expert and long-time After Effects evangelist. Brian is very excited to see the new product released. "My enthusiasm for After Effects is very well known," he said "and I think people will be very pleased with the content and the really first class examples that we come up with for this series." As with all Total Training products, the new course takes more than just a "push buttons and watch" approach. "We always keep people engaged," said Brian. "by presenting things in context, and explaining why some things are created in certain ways that serve the objectives of the project."
What's New in Adobe After Effects 5 focuses on new features, including 3D development, parenting and expressions. What's New in Adobe After Effects 5 is available in DVD and VHS (NTSC or PAL) video formats and offers over 16 hours of entertaining and detailed instruction. An accompanying CD-ROM contains all the graphic files used by the instructor in each lesson, while a detailed quick reference booklet allows users to quickly locate the instruction they need. The training supports Microsoft (MSFT) Windows NT/95/98/2000 and Apple (AAPL) Power Macintosh operating platforms.
