TimeBridge Adopted as Company Standard to Streamline Scheduling for Entire OrganizationsTimeBridge, Named One of Ten Enterprise Software Companies to Watch by NetworkWorld, Helps Over 6,000 Companies Put Their Scheduling Woes Behind Them (June 04, 2008)
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/04/08 -- As more and more busy professionals turn to TimeBridge to make scheduling meetings easier, usage has begun to spread virally within their organizations to become a standard for coordinating calendars and bringing people together. More than 6,000 companies small and large and in varying vertical markets have begun taking on TimeBridge to simplify the complex scheduling process inside and outside their organizations. These companies can also let their employees use a Mac or a Windows PC and keep their preferred personal calendar instead of assuming the constraints and expense of a Microsoft Exchange server.
TimeBridge's Personal Scheduling Assistant became generally available in December 2007 and now counts more than 50,000 users. TimeBridge offers a new, efficient way to schedule meetings with large groups or individuals across time zones, calendaring systems and was recently named a "Cool Vendor" by Gartner Research. TimeBridge fully integrates with Outlook and Google calendars, with Apple iCal integration coming soon.

TimeBridge Solves "Significant Pain Point" for Apogee Search
What was once a significant time drain and source of frustration for Apogee Search, an Austin-based search-marketing firm, is now a problem of the past thanks to TimeBridge's Outlook and Google integrated scheduling application. After countless wasted hours scheduling meetings within and outside the company, Apogee began a search to find the best tool for their needs.
"If you're trying to get five people together for a meeting, there can be more than 20 emails back and forth before you resolve a time," said Brian Combs, founder and senior vice president of Apogee Search. "The time investment is at least several hours companywide and that was a problem that needed to be solved."
After eliminating expensive server solutions due to the inability to coordinate cross-platform and with people outside the company, Apogee assessed available scheduling solutions and quickly chose TimeBridge due to its deep integration with Outlook and Google calendars, simple user-interface and its effectiveness in a ten-person trial within the company.
"The real pain point for us was not calendaring, it was the coordination of calendars and times to meet. For this focused, yet significant pain point, TimeBridge was clearly the best solution," said Combs.
TimeBridge is now the standard scheduling solution for more than 50 Apogee employees who are coordinating meetings within the company as well as with clients, many of which include up to seven people. Meeting organizers at Apogee have found TimeBridge to be valuable for meetings both large and small. Apogee has used TimeBridge to schedule company training sessions and even a companywide meeting of 55 people. By viewing everyone's availability, event organizers are able to see the likely times that will work for the most people and propose several times for attendees. For large groups using different operating and calendar systems, meetings with clients and people outside of Apogee, and small internal meetings, TimeBridge has taken the pain out of getting people together and enables Apogee employees to spend more time getting their work done.
"TimeBridge has worked so well that I now use it outside of work. I even used it recently to schedule a dinner with my wife and some of our friends," said Ian Strain-Seymour, Apogee Search's director of client services.
Other Businesses Adopt TimeBridge as the Scheduling Standard
Nearly half of new TimeBridge users are individuals at companies, like Apogee Search, looking to find new ways to work together. Atlantic Research Group, a clinical research management company, and FastPivot, an e-commerce design agency, are two other small businesses that had similar scheduling issues as Apogee and have since solved them by making TimeBridge a standard, companywide solution.
FastPivot needed a way to simplify scheduling on their cross-platform calendars that would also make scheduling with clients easy.
"When scheduling meetings between our designers and clients, coordination can get complicated and take far too long," said Matthew Ledford, president and co-founder of FastPivot. "Seeing everyone's availability lets me see what works for everyone on our end, and being able to propose five potential times gives the client options to choose from -- it's really the best of both worlds."
Atlantic Research Group, using Google Apps for their office applications, similarly needed a way to link everyone internally and schedule with clients externally. Google Calendar's integration with TimeBridge helped increase productivity and simplify scheduling with external meeting attendees.
TimeBridge has created the first Personal Scheduling Assistant to give busy professionals a faster, more efficient way to schedule their time. TimeBridge's one-step scheduling is the most efficient way to schedule meetings with large groups or individuals across time zones, calendaring systems and companies. TimeBridge allows users to easily schedule meetings, share their availability with others, and connect directly with calendars including Outlook and Google Calendar. While online calendars help users track their time, TimeBridge facilitates the social, and often complex process of getting busy people together -- in person, on the phone or online. TimeBridge is backed by blue-chip venture capital firms Mayfield Fund and Norwest Venture Partners. For more information, go to www.timebridge.com.
