PORTLAND, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/12 -- Brand Timbre LLC, a music marketing and sonic branding agency, has signed a multi-year agreement with Kaiser Permanente to update the healthcare provider's on-hold and overhead audio-delivery system and provide custom music programming and messaging to more than 300 of the healthcare provider's facilities throughout the U.S. An extension of Kaiser Permanente's organization-wide sonic-branding initiative, this comprehensive music-messaging solution will give America's largest healthcare provider complete control of its "airwaves," enabling it to optimize members' listening experience both in care environments and as an integral part of the phone-based services that it offers.
Timbre has created three custom music programs expressly for KP. Based in part on a number of studies affirming music's psychological and physiological benefits, the music programs also reflect Kaiser Permanente's brand ethos, reinforcing, for example, the idea that maintaining a positive outlook in life is as much a determinant of one's overall well-being as a good diet and steady exercise.
