Threshold Completes Projects for MTV and UniversalFull-service post facility becoming the boutique of choice (August 25, 2004)
Threshold Sound & Vision recently completed post production on MTV’s “Making the Video,” which features the behind-the-scenes production of Green Day’s new music video, “American Idiot,” and the upcoming DVD release of Universal’s “Power to the People and The Videos,” a collection of Public Enemy music videos spanning the groups 17 year career.
MTV’s “Making the Video” Threshold’s Marc Schrobilgen, who also served as Producer on the project, provided off-line/online editing and color correction services, utilizing Threshold’s Avid 9000 and Video Symphony. Mixer/Sound Designer Michael Perricone completed the final mix. The episode was produced by Almost Midnight Productions and was directed by Michael Perlmutter.
Universal’s “Power to the People and The Videos” (DVD) Working closely with Chuck D of Public Enemy in Threshold’s 5.1 sweetening and sound design room, Michael Perricone completed the final mix of the DVD, which features re- mastered high-resolution audio and a running commentary by none other than Chuck D himself.
