Three-Five to Sponsor 2nd Annual International Microdisplay Conference

(July 25, 2001)
Three-Five Systems, Inc. will co-sponsor Microdisplay 2001, the 2nd Annual International Conference on Microdisplays to be held in Westminster, Colorado August 13-15, 2001. In addition to being one of the three lead sponsors of the show, Three-Five will be demonstrating for the first time its Brillian 1280 Microdisplays in the new RCA Scenium L50000. Three-Five has also been invited to participate in the Microdisplay Roundtable, a forum for technical leaders of both LCoS microdisplay companies and companies who work closely with them to discuss the future for this technology and to ensure successful commercial product introductions. To complete its high profile status at this event, Three-Five will be presenting a technical paper on optical measurement systems for microdisplays.

Three-Five has developed a complete line of Brillian Microdisplays from SVGA, the resolution of the Internet, to WUXGA, for products that require high definition or ultra-high resolution. A microdisplay is a small display, about the size of a thumbnail, that when combined with an optics system has the unique advantage of being able to make the apparent size of the image viewed larger than the size of the actual display. The Brillian family of microdisplays addresses the market's need for high information content displays in small, cost-effective packages.
