Online and Offline Browser-Based e-Reading
Web-e-Books® recently implemented Cache-It, an HTML5-based offline reading service for e-books and short stories. Upon log-in, user-selected Web-e-Books are automatically cached (saved) to allow continuous reading when Internet connections are unavailable -- for example, when leaving a Wi Fi hotspot, or when placing a mobile device in airplane mode. How Cache-It Works
Cache-It stores the Web-e-Book in application cache (memory) designated by the HTML5 standard.
