The Time Remapping Effects in Premiere Pro CS3Host Jeff Schell shows how and when to use it
In this week's podcast, host Jeff Schell introduces you to the ins and outs of the Time Remapping video effect that is new to Premiere Pro CS3. Jeff shows you how to use the Time Remapping controls in the Timeline panel to change the speed of a clip.
Unlike within previous versions of Premiere Pro, the Time Remapping properties let you gradually change the speed of a clip. Jeff also shows you how to reverse the playback speed of a clip and freeze a clip at a specific point in time. Finally, you'll learn the Time Remapping keyboard shortcuts for moving a keyframe in time, or locking it to a specific frame of video.
The Time Remapping effect can be found in the effects controls, but it is the one effect that Jeff recommends be performed in the Timeline.
