The Gay Travel Guide For Tops and Bottoms-USA EDITION: Revolutionizes Travel For Gay Men

(May 31, 2012)

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/31/12 -- The Gay Travel Guide For Tops And Bottoms - USA Edition (ISBN 9781927124086) by Drew Blancs has become the new pop culture book for the gay community. Following the book's slogan "Never Leave Your Friend's Behind", the reviews are done by two gay male travelers (one top gay male and one bottom gay male). The humorous look at gay jaunts based upon the sexual performance of the locals is a unique approach in travel review books.

This follow up book was created due to the overwhelming demand by readers of the original travel book which reviews 15 countries in the same manner.

"We want to do to gay travel what Fifty Shades of Grey did to erotica which is revolutionize the way people think," says Author Drew Blancs.

Mr. Blancs became tired of the complaints of his top and bottom friends for their lack of finding compatible sex partners. The original book caused controversy when LinkedIn, the professional networking site, pulled all ads for the original gay travel guide, claiming it contained "inappropriate content or language". This was despite the fact that the publisher, Icon Empire Press, only targeted men in the LinkedIn "Gay Travel and Leisure" Groups. Google and Facebook allowed the ads for the book to run on their respective sites.

As the two narrators visit each of the 15 states listed in the book, they rated the local top or bottom gay men by sexual performance with up to a 5 point rating system. The book was able to determine which U.S. States had the best top and the best bottom gay male locals. and have given the book a worldwide release. The Gay Travel Guide For Tops And Bottoms - USA Edition ($14.99) is available at most online retail bookstores in print and eBook formats.

Icon Empire Press is a publisher of gay literary works that set out to fulfill the understanding of the human spirit.
