The Adventures of Seinfeld and SupermanAdvertainment Case Study to be presented at Entertainment and Media Conference (August 19, 2004)
Leaders from the TV, music, gaming, film, and internet/digital media industries will discuss the implications of industry convergence on October 20-21, 2004 in Miami at the Entertainment and Media Forum being held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Linda Yaccarino, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Turner Entertainment, will deliver a case study on successful advertainment campaigns, such as the network’s re-branding effort through The Adventures of Seinfeld and Superman. She will discuss how advertainment sponsorships have garnered attention and praise from clients for their ability to meet the changing needs of advertisers in a time when so many types of media are available.
Examining the gaming industry will be Mathew Bromberg, Vice President and General Manager for AOL Games, discussing how games have gone from content to a cash source, and where and why they will continue to grow in importance for entertainment firms, as well as what can be learned from successful subscription service models.
Other presenters include senior executives from Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group, NASCAR, BMG, Ubisoft, TNT, and Warner Bros.
