Telestream showcases Final Cut Server integration at NAB 2008

At NAB 2008, Telestream was showcasing a variety of solutions including its Pipeline network-based video capture solution with new support for ingesting into Apple's Final Cut Server and a free upgrade to Apple's ProRes 422 format in standard definition. High Definition support will come later this year.  Pipeline affords real time encoding in a variety of formats, including DV25, IMX, MPEG-2 i-Frame, and Apple's ProRes 422 Sd (SQ). Pipeline is priced starting at $1950.

The company also showcased Episode 5.0, encoding software for Apple workflows that adds encode and decode support for Flash 8 VP6s, Flash 9, and Blu-ray. The company also announced version 5.0 support for RED, Cineon, and DPX formats. Version 5.0 also enables you to log and capture video from tape, record live feeds, and encode media as it is digitized. Other support includes media browser and importing from Grass Valley K2, Profile, and 360 System servers, Sony XDCAM, Grass Valley Infinity, and Ikegamit EditCam cameras, the company said.
