Telefunken NA Completes Vintage Reissue Line-Up

Introduces new R-F-T M16 & "no frills" classic Ela M251 F package (January 18, 2005)

Telefunken North America, celebrating its second year at NAMM, is exhibiting its entire line of microphones which faithfully recreate the vintage Telefunken sound.

The company is also introducing at NAMM the new Telefunken R-F-T M16, which incorporates the same tube technology and renowned craftsmanship in a competitively affordable package ideal for the professional or project studio. The new handmade, multi-pattern R-F-T M16 offers superior sonic performance and mechanical design, featuring a Circa 1980 NOS (New Old Stock) Phillips JAN 12AX7 WA vintage tube and Dual Gold-Sputtered 6 micron center contact capsule. The system comes complete with a remote-controlled 9 Polar Pattern external power supply, shock mount, 25-foot mic cable, and handmade wooden microphone box. MSRP: $1,399.

The Ela M251 F microphone houses the same meticulously hand-crafted components and vintage tube, yet is now available without the sumptuous flight case and the power supply is a modern version of the historical one.
