Tech Soft Announces ParaHOOPS 3D Part Viewer 6.2

Translates Parasolid v.13 and includes real-time simultaneous view, mark-up capabilities (September 27, 2001)
Tech Soft America announced the latest release of the free ParaHOOPS 3D Part Viewer built around TSAs HOOPS Product Suite and Parasolid v13, UGS widely used geometric modelling kernel.

The most recent version of this popular free 3D viewer allows for real time collaborative view and mark up of XT part files, translation between Parasolid versions, and web publishing to the HOOPS Stream File (HSF) format. The HOOPS Stream File (HSF) format is a robust, customizable and highly compressed 2D/3D visualization format specifically tailored to the needs of displaying engineering data. With HSF, application developers can create highly customized, stream-capable visualization files, which may also contain application-specific information and have that data intelligently associated with the tessellated model data.

Major features of the ParaHOOPS 3D Part Viewer include:

· Real-Time, simultaneous collaboration between multiple users.
