Tami Reiker to Receive Kodak Vision Award

Acclaimed cinematographer honored at the Women In Film Awards (June 10, 2005)

Hot off the set of her latest feature ?Mr. Woodcock, Tami Reiker will arrive at the Beverley Hilton to accept the Kodak Vision Award at Fusion, The 2005 Crystal + Lucy Awards, presented by Women In Film.

Reiker (whose previous credits include ?High Art and ?The Love Letter) was chosen to receive the Kodak Vision Award in recognition for her stunning cinematography on the pilot episode of HBOs ?Carnivāle, directed by Rodrigo Garcia.

?Mr. Woodcock, which wrapped principal photography on Monday, stars Susan Sarandon and Billy Bob Thornton. Executive Producer Diana Pokorny will be presenting the Kodak Vision Award to Reiker.

Reiker has received numerous accolades for her cinematography in recent years. In 2004, she won the prestigious ASC Outstanding Achievement Award for her work on the pilot of ?Carnivāle and made history by becoming the first woman ever to be nominated and to win an ASC award.

The evenings other honorees include producer/actor Sandra Bullock and Jamie Foxx (Crystal Awards), and Debra Messing and Megan Mullally (Lucy Awards).

Tami Reiker is represented by Dattner Dispoto and Associates in Los Angeles.
