T-System Launches New Revenue Cycle Management Solution

RevCycle+ Provides Technology Enabled Facility Coding, Professional Coding and Billing, and Consulting Services to Optimize Financial Performance (June 11, 2012)

DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 06/11/12 -- To help hospitals and physician practices address shrinking reimbursement rates and operational challenges, T-System, Inc. today formally introduced RevCycle+, a technology-enabled revenue cycle solution encompassing facility coding, physician coding and billing, and consulting.

T-System, perhaps best known for its emergency department (ED) documentation solutions, is the first ED vendor to tie clinical expertise to revenue cycle management. Patient documentation is tightly linked to a hospital's and physician's financial performance because quality information captured during the care process is critical to ensure accurate coding and, ultimately, optimal reimbursement. T-System will provide guidance and feedback to hospitals and physician groups to optimize their financial performance and regulatory compliance through every stage of the revenue cycle -- beginning with patient registration and ending with payment collection for services rendered.

The ED has since seen a $50,000 increase in revenue between February and May 2012.
