Systems Integrators VSG and TSG Strengthen AllianceWorking together on NESN HD studio construction (April 15, 2005)
Venue Services Group (VSG) and The Systems Group (TSG), two national systems integration firms continue their partnership alliance announced at NAB 2004. This Alliance has led to the launch of a number of successful projects, including their most recent joint venture: an HDTV studio and control room build-out at New England Sports Network in Boston, Massachusetts.
Both VSG and TSG continue to complement and strengthen each others core business by bringing together a unique think-tank of experienced broadcast integration veterans.
VSGs current base includes mobile unit construction, including its recent completion of National Mobile Televisions HD10 and SBS1 and current build of TV Aztecas HD mobile unit; religious broadcasting including Free Chapel Worship Center, Healing Place Church, Solid Rock Church and Bethany Worship Center; Arena and Stadium infrastructures, including the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, Fenway Park, Fleet Center and the Staples Center; and consulting projects of Madison Square Garden Networks, The Lightship Group, Fox Sports Chicago and the National Football League.
The Systems Groups current project base is steeped in major fixed facilities and includes notable broadcast giants like MTV Networks, Fox News, WVIZ/Ideastream, WNED, WGBH, Viacom, Tribune Broadcasting and ESPN. TSG has worked with every major network, numerous cable channels, and has designed and installed broadcast and communication facilities for a myriad of corporate clients such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and The Home Depot. TSGs consulting and design teams have been developing some of the most progressive advanced digital systems to date including centralized monitoring, multi-channel HD/SD origination, and master control consolidation projects.
?We have been very pleased in our selection of the TSG/VSG team, which gives us the best of two top systems integration firms working together for our HD studio project, says Dave Desrochers, director of engineering for NESN. ?Having this kind of varied experience in studio facilities construction and HDTV regional networks operations is quite unique.
VSG and TSG, in an alliance to provide high-quality broadcast services in all aspects of the broadcast industry, have been able to offer their clients a unique opportunity: the chance to partner with two integrators who combine extensive design/build and project experience in major fixed facilities, mobile unit construction along with deep broadcast operational experience.
