Synthetic Ap Updates Echo FireVersion 2.1 gains Mac OS X support
Echo Fire 2.1, in addition to OS X 10.2 support, adds Clipboard previews for applications that don't have video previewing capabilities, including 3D and paint applications. t allows users to copy any image to the Clipboard for preview on a studio monitor. The new version also offers expanded video output options, ranging from Apple DV FireWire to uncompressed SDI cards in NTSC or PAL. (FireWire requires a media converter.) The company says it supports any device with a QuickTime Video Output component.
Echo Fire 2.1 supports Mac OS X, Mac OS 8.6/9.x and Windows. It's available now for $275. The update is free for registered users of Echo Fire 2.0. Upgrades from previous versions run $49. For more information, visit http://www.synthetic-ap.com.
