Synthe FX releases DashRender 1.0

Simple Maya rendering from your Dashboard. (January 17, 2007)

DMN Newswire--2007-1-17--Synthe FX, LLC has announced the immediate availability of DashRender 1.0 for Autodesk Maya for the Mac. DashRender is a new Dashboard Widget for rendering your Alias/Autodesk Maya scene files, compatible with Maya 6.0 through 8.5 and Apple Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Simply drag and drop your scene file onto the widget, click render, and watch the progress. That's it.

With an simple interface that is both easy to use and read, you will be rendering and keeping track of Maya renders like never before. Apple's Dashboard environment, along with DashRender, now provide the quickest and most convenient way to control your rendering on the Mac. DashRender respects the settings and paths that users have already set up in their Maya scenes. Users can also set "per-render" options such as render size, start and end frames, performance settings, and more.
