DJs who like to use hardware controllers during their set will be able to make the most of their kit with the new release of DJ-1800.

Version 2.2 of the professional DJ software now includes support for popular controllers, including the Hercules DJ Console, the Kontrol-DJ and any other MIDI controller. The new version also features a clearer interface, which is even more responsive when new tunes are loaded.

Dave Addey, CEO of DJ-1800 said: ?We know how popular controllers are with our DJs and we wanted to make their professional lives even easier.

?    BPM values are loaded from iTunes to read on screen
?    Other bug fixes and improvements

A fully-featured demo of DJ-1800 is available to download from www.dj1800.com. Users who have previously bought DJ-1800 can upgrade to version 2.2 of the software for free.
