Stream of the Month -- December

Holiday streams to lift the spirit By Stephen Schleicher
Holiday is the theme for the Stream of the Month for December. This month weve found a few streaming video pieces you may enjoy to either get you in the mood, or to cheer you up from that holiday funk.

The Night Before Christmas
Christmas Eve at the Weston's opulent abode is a cause for celebration - especially if you're a crook. Little Nathan Weston wants to stay up late and enjoy the festivities, but is ordered off to bed by his mother. Late that night, Nathan gets out of bed and surprises Ol' Saint Nick who is, shall we say, redistributing some of the Christmas wealth.

Holiday Romance
In this 1999 OSCAR-nominated short film, a would-be thief enters a house and finds plenty of reasons to make himself at home. Chief among them is the fact that he can't leave, having been trapped by his victim and forced to look after the place while she's on vacation. Can the tables be turned again?

Mr. Bills Christmas Special
Nothing beats stop motion animation, especially if it is a clay figure getting his just reward. Walter Williams' hard-luck Play-Doh pal Mr. Bill invites viewers to spend Christmas with him and his family in this chaos-filled special. Father Guido Sarducci makes an appearance as everyone awaits the arrival of Santa Sluggo. Ohh Nooooooo!!!

South Park: The Spirit of Christmas
Finally we come to a holiday classic. The short film that started a franchise for four little kids from South Park Colorado. Warning---strong language and violence.
