Speek.com Launches Mobile iPhone App for Super Simple Conference Calls(January 07, 2013)
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 07, 2013
Speek.com, a platform for easy conference calling, today announced it has launched an iPhone app for free, visual and mobile conference calls.
The Speek iPhone app allows users to choose an easy-to-remember username, instead of fumbling around for a traditional phone number and PIN. Participants talk instantly with one-click calls and no elevator music. Speek also makes it easy to add the contacts already in your phone to the call via text, email or a calendar invitation. Once on the call, users can see who's joined, who's talking, share images from their phone, as well as mute and remove participants.
Business on-the-go is often hectic and disorganized. Frantically searching for phone numbers and PINs, and then being dumped into a black hole where you dont know whos talking or whos on the call is an ineffective way to conduct business, said co-founder and CEO John Bracken. Weve meticulously designed a mobile experience that removes the friction and annoyances of a traditional conference call, so you can run a productive meeting whether youre on vacation or stuck in traffic. The iPhone app means you can enjoy your conference call, even when youre not at your desk.
The launch comes on the heels of Speeks recent announcement that it secured $1.2 million in funding by several early-stage venture funds. Since its beta launch, Speek has experienced rapid growth reaching tens of thousands of callers in a few short months.
The Speek iPhone app is free and available here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/speek/id587362828?ls=1&mt=8
Speek is super simple, free and visual conference calling. Use a personal or business link (i.e., speek.com/YourName), instead of a phone number and PIN for conference calls. Nothing to download and no elevator music. See who's joined, who's talking, share files, use call controls and more. Reserve your Speek link at http://www.speek.com.
